*NOTE: I TURN THEM UP IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE VIDEO* This is a pair of highly regarded Sony SS-X30ED Extended Definition speakers from Sony. They have G Brace cabinets, 6.5″ Kevlar mid-range drivers and 1″ Neodymium/Carbon coated High Definition tweeters. Ridiculously low production runs of these beauties puts them on the “extremely rare” list. The serial numbers on this pair is sub 200’s. This is the first video in a series highlighting my collection of rare Sony speakers. These speaker are extremely robust, and to think they are the babies of the SS-X Series! Equipment in this video Sony SS-X30ED Speakers Cambridge Soundworks P300HD Subwoofer Rotel RSX-1067 Receiver Denon DVD-2900 Monster HTS-2600 Cables - I’d rather not mention Stands by VTI OmniMount Component Rack
What are audio racks and how can they help you? Audio racks, furniture, or traveling components that can organize you stereo equipment, as well as keep them in the right place. If you have separate components, receivers, amplifiers, and CD players, you know how important it is that they are just stacked on top of one another. These systems put out a lot of power, and give off heat. Just stacking them together can cause excess heat build up, and burn out your expensive system. The same goes for your music library as well, having them too close to these heat sources can damage delicate CDs.
